Jennifer Love Hewitt was born on February 21, 1979 in Waco Texas to proud parents Herbert Daniel and Patricia Mae Hewitt. She was named Jennifer after a childhood crush of her brother, Todd Hewitt and Love after her mother’s best friend in college. After a few years, her parents divorced and her mother brought her children up by herself.

Jennifer Love Hewitt proved to be a talented child. She first had exposure at the young age of three when she sang Whitney Houston’s The Greatest Love of All in a livestock show. She also sang her own version of the song Help Me Make It through the Night at a local restaurant dance hall when she was four. She learned tap dancing and ballet when she was five. She became a member of the Texas Show Team when she was nine and by the time she was ten, her mother was advised by various talent scouts to take her daughter to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Her first big break came in the form of Disney Channel’s Kids Incorporated variety show, where Jennifer Love Hewitt was a cast member from 1989 to 1991. She later starred in various television shows like Shaky Ground, Byrds of Paradise and McKenna. She became highly popular when she landed the role of Sarah Reeves in a show called Party of Five. By 1997, Jennifer Love Hewitt was called the Sexiest Woman of the Year. She currently stars in the television series entitled Ghost Whisperer. As a movie star, Jennifer Love Hewitt’s first break was when she landed a leading role in the 1997 horror-suspense film called I Know What You Did Last Summer. This movie was later followed by the sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer the following year.
