Al Gore was born March 31st in Washington, D.C. Since his father, Albert A. Gore Sr, was a veteran Democratic senator from Tennessee, Al Gore Jr. spent the bulk of his childhood living in a Washington, D.C. hotel where he attended the Sheridan School, and later the elite St. Albans School.
