John Hancock's Birthday

 

John Hancock was born Jan. 23,1737 at Braintree, Massachusetts. He was the first signer of the Declaration of Independence. In fact his signature is so famously large on the document, that his name has come to mean signature, as in "put your John Hancock right here." John Hancock died Oct 8th at Quincy, Massachusetts.
