Sweetest Day
Sweetest Day is observed on the 3rd Saturday of October. The holiday was started by a Cleveland Philanthropist, Herbert Birch Kingston in 1922. Kingston was a candy company employee wanting to bring happiness to orphans, shut-ins and those otherwise forgotten.
