I knew I'd revisit this song after November 4, but I couldn't be sure what sort of mood I'd be in.

America is actually a continent that includes the United States, Mexico, Canada, Greenland (Denmark) and the islands of St Pierre and Miquelon (France).

Actually, that's NORTH America. America also includes the Caribbean and South America.
