Hey what a song! How about these lyrics:

I go to the gas station-to pump some gas
I stick it in the exhaust pipe-like you do your a**-People begin to wonder-how can I be so dumb-but this analogy I am showing-is just good old fasion fun-Who cares if it is unhealthy-because I have my rights-to display my stupidity-and senseless logic to new heights-This song that I wrote-is done in a certian way-to remind your time is comming which is your judgement day.

You guys are being so pissy. I'm a liberal (a socialist, actually) and a believer. I'm a Jew. I believe in God. I also think that only hard, imperical science should be taught in the classroom. There is nothing about being a Christian that makes someone inherently intelligent or inherently stupid. It's entirely possible to be an intelligent, rational, religious person. It's also entirely possible to be a devout nutjob and use faith as a basis for a witch burning, a pogrom, or a terrorist attack.

What religion one is, does not determine intelligence. This should be obvious.
jblive1985 (November 12, 2008 at 11:57 pm)
faith is stupid n u could be a conservitive n also say that
irthnvesl (November 12, 2008 at 7:52 pm)
Christians are the smartest people alive. They are the ones who are truly liberated. Liberalism is actually a misnomer.
astralmagickcraft (November 13, 2008 at 2:53 am)
Thats unequivical bullshit.

I am going to in fact assume you have never been anything but a christian so you can't really say that.
irthnvesl (November 13, 2008 at 9:49 am)
You just proved my point. I can say that - and I did.:>

Hey, next time I am in Atlanta, I'll stop by the King Memorial and tell all those deluded people what FOOLS they are to revere a man with an inferior faith-based education that is so obviously deficient and not equal to your *SCIENCE* education! What a bunch of ignorant Christian rubes! If only "DR." King -- we need to put that in quotes, since it must not be a REAL doctorate in SCIENCE -- had an education like yours. Wow. Just think of what he could have accomplished.

" What a bunch of ignorant Christian rubes! If only "DR." King -- we need to put that in quotes, since it must not be a REAL doctorate in SCIENCE -- had an education like yours."

Why are you unable to read what I actually wrote? I said there is nothing wrong with the ministry or seminary but only that they don't accentuate the type of critical thinking skills that one gains in a science education.

I think you're just pissed that I caught you in a "lie" or two.
ReunionHawaii (November 12, 2008 at 5:23 pm)
Please post anything I have said that was a "lie or too" so I can recant and apologize. You inferred what I never implied, and have built a straw-man argument around it. Funny.
