My all-time favorite Beatles song... Love it

It's about his mom, who died of cancer when he was a kid.

The other version of this song is better. This has the line 'there will be no sorrow' which isn't on the album version. I'm not sure why this one has all the views :)

Paul is refering to his mother "literally". She had cancer and was dieing. That's what this song is about. I had to google all kinds of things to find out. You might try it on all song you may have questions about. Google is an amazing search engine full of facts. Hope I helped.

you are comparing what, greenday with beatles. That's just too unappreciative and stupid man. Next thing we know you will be comparing Ricky Martin with Paul. Posting comments like this only makes you looks stupid, and shows how little you know of beatles.

The beatles set a standard in song writting that is still today, unmatched. I believe there were only a couple of bands after them that even came close, ones that come to mind are Queen and ELO.

This is the final moments of a legend ... they are trying to end his spirit to devote to these types of music products, from the depth
