I saw Johnny around the same time and man he was painfully thin! I was about the same distance away and I had to keep telling myself to stop looking at him and listen to his brilliant playing. But you have to admit it's hard not to notice a cross eyed albino that is skinnier than a water spider.

Yeah, my wife wanted to take him home and give him a feed ha ha! Actually she couldn't stand Johnny's records and only went to see him under sufferance. We left the hall that night with her raving non stop about how fantastic he was! I came home early one day and she had the vacuum cleaner going and Third Degree going even louder on the record player. I said: Who are you and what have you done with my wife? She replied: this is great! He sounds just like he did the other night on the record too.
